Help children with unique abilities excel in school environments
AYUDA welcomes all children with and without disabilities. This includes children with developmental delays, autism, Asperger’s, defiant behaviors, lack of impulse control, hyperactivity, anxiety, speech and language delays, cognitive difficulties (serious difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making decisions) and dyslexia.
Children with unique abilities can thrive in school environments with professional and caring attention and support materials. Children with disabilities (CWD) are included in adapted activities with their shadows/volunteers. Teachers guiding sports activities ensure that the children are helped one-to-one to learn the exercises, enhance their muscle dexterity & body/space and time orientation.
AYUDA's collaboration with the Advocacy Network on Disabilities assists with CWD accommodations for activity presentations, response with input from child, parents and ESE staff. Adaptations include additional visual, tactile, multi-sensory materials, time allocation, preferential seating and behavior modification strategies.
With your support, AYUDA ensures that all students benefit from our programs and creates happy, educated, confident and socially secure children.
